Bring your ideas, vision and innovation to the Fall GT Journey Convergence Innovation Competition!
This is your opportunity to design, build, and deploy Applications for the Georgia Tech community. Share your innovative ideas and leave a legacy at Georgia Tech by leveraging campus data and API's, building online and mobile applications, services, and physical prototypes. The Fall CIC is sponsored through the GT Journey initiative, which provides devices and other resources as well as technical support, access to data, and space to work. Campus Services
GT’s Information Technology Group (ITG), a sponsor of this Fall’s CIC, provides a wide portfolio of services to the GT community including – Buzzcard, Parking & Transportation, Dining Services & Health Services. Entries in this category will work with the data made available by ITG’s services to build new and innovative solutions.
Classroom & Academics
Over 20,000 students attend class every day at Georgia Tech. In doing so, they utilize tools such as T-Square, Clicker and platforms such as Blackboard. In addition, they utilize GT services like Registrar, Scheduling etc. This category aims to produce innovative solutions to challenges faced by GT students, faculty and staff building towards better communication and collaboration in the classroom.
GT Community & beyond
Georgia Tech’s community is more than just the people in it. Our location in midtown Atlanta brings about myriad interactions with our city and our partners. This has led to many avenues for innovation – from transportation to security to retail to visitation. Entries in this categories will create solutions to enhance our interactions within our extended community.
